Another Victory - Visitor's Story

You attempted to use me; you still didn't win.
Though injured and angry, I repented of my sin.
You pushed each button; things went sorely wrong.
Jesus' Spirit stopped by with calm, before very long.
An ache slept within me; you knew and attacked.
My God didn't permit you, to make me turn back.
You saw no problem, using someone I love dearly.
My flesh let it happen; I wasn't thinking clearly.
Thank God for Sweet Jesus; He set aside the grief!
Your intention is my failure; you're a liar and thief!
From this day on, my guard will at all times be up.
I know you'll soon be back, to destroy and corrupt.
I want you to know, that I shall never turn back!
Though humanly flawed, I'm HIS that's a fact!
Well, you old demon, Jesus won once again!
In Christ, I will have victory, to the very end!
Get over yourself; my heart and mind are fixed.
I'll not fall for any more, of your wicked tricks.
You know God fights my battles; and yet you bother.
You'll never be victorious, over my Savior, my Father.
