Arduous
by Carl Stoynoff

Lifting the weight of love
Arduous rising in recovery,
Left with only the experience,
Pictures in the mind recoil,
Waking with ease, erased effects,
Meadows of Willows still weep,
Memories, sweet memories,
Pulling an Ace from the bottom,
One more day of refusal
No chance of accepting
Reality of life consumes,
But a face in clouds resumes
Looking up, can't help but grin
Her Heidi Klum smile aglow,
What's hard, is not as hard,
What's easy, is closing my eyes,
Press 'Play', again and again,
The arduous becomes sublime.
