Sitting in church, listening to the Pastor speak around Christmas time, he shared with us a very beautiful story...
_________________________________A young girl about the age of 7, received money from her Grandparents on Christmas. Her father took her out shopping later that week. She went straight to the toy section and saw a beautiful Princess Barbie that she has been wanting since she saw it on television.
A boy about the same age, had also come into the toy section, his clothes were old and torn. He picked up a Mario Cart game and asked his father if he could get it, his father looked down at him and said sorry but you can't afford to buy it. He set it back onto the self and they walked away.
The little girl walked over to the game and told her father this is what she wanted to buy. After she had bought it, she saw the little boy standing in line behind her. She whispered into the cashier's ear and handed her the game.
As the boy came up with his father the cashier had rung up their stuff and had said, "Oh it looks like you are the 100th customer today, here is a prize for you." She handed him the Mario Cart game, and the little girl saw the smile on the boy's face.
The father look down at her and asked, "Why did you do this sweetie?" She replied, "Well Grandma and Grandpa told me to buy something that would make me happy."
The father drove away from the store proud of his daughter.
