I saw her today and she looked great She buckled me in and drove me to McDonald's.
Today was a fun day with Grandma.
I saw her today and she looked great. I buckled her in and I drove her to Hobby Lobby.
Today was a fun day with Grandma.
I saw her today and she didn't know who I was. With a puzzled look on her face, she turned and walked away.
Today was a sad day with Grandma.
(Dedicated to anyone who has those memories of spending time with their grandparents. It saddens me to know that some day when I go visit my Grandmother she won't know who I am. Dementia and Alzheimer's is a scary thing and I hate that my grandmother is going through it, but it's a part of life... I love you Grandma.)

Hi Michelle, thanks for sharing this simple and poignant poem with us about your grandma! The scenarios you've described could be very real for people with their loved ones suffering from conditions that take away loved ones' memories. I hope the happy and good memories of your grandparents will stay with you always.
