Dreaming Forward - Visitor's Poem

This is a picture I made for fun awhile ago. I have a bit of an obsession with making flowers I think.
I look up into the abyss of the very stars of the above,
The Heavens of the night had gazed right back,
I just couldn’t touch them but my dreams were already there,
With my heart in such a blessing my spirit forged the track,
“What separated me from them?” I am to wonder,
We both could be seen and shined brighter and brighter,
What good is truth without the essence of the dream?
Before long, the sky became lighter and lighter,
I have seen the very dark creepy shadows,
I have been through them with sheer will and hope,
I have gone through things the stubborn harder way,
Think not of me as some kind of dope,
I have the needed strength inside and out,
I have become what I needed to be myself,
I have learned to accept and learned to carry on,
I want to be independent and require less help,
I have to keep moving, I must keep moving,
I must keep dreaming, I must keep believing,
I must keep tugging, I must keep pushing,
And hopefully someday I’ll truly be living.
