This poem just flowed while I was sitting on my lanai with a cool drink. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
Hawaiian Skies
The sky in Hawaii is a delight for it offers the viewer a wondrous sight. You rest and enjoy the moving sky as formations of clouds pass by your eye. There goes an alligator, then a bear, followed by an iceberg and a hare. Next comes a dragon breathing white air. Then there are angels--a beautiful pair. Looking up in the sky you say out loud, "I am looking at a beautiful cloud." Here I am, high in the sky watching sailboats gliding by. Or are they icebergs, white and puffy, perked up and pointed with peaks so fluffy. The clouds look so real you can almost touch ’em and try to feel. It really is surreal.
