Innocence Not Lost - Visitor's Poem

by Adrian McGinn
(Paris, France)

When did I pack away innocence
I wanted to be a grown-up surely
But surely if I hid my innocence
The more surely I matured
But truly the less unique I became
The fun, the curiosity truly gone
Contaminated truly by complexity
Intoxicated surely by sophistication
Surely by re-discovering my innocence
Truly & surely my life renews itself

Innocence
by: Fion

Hi Adrian, thanks for sharing your thoughts about how innocence affects one's life. In the rush to grow up, sometimes we buried our innocence to find out in the end that it's less fun. Thanks for pointing out how innocence renews life itself.
