with thoughts of you.

From the comfort of your voice,
and the kindness that you speak,
to the battles that you've won,
and the nights that I long for you.
And my heart beats happy.

My heart beats happy,
when you say my name.

From a choir of angels this is sung.
Sung to my flesh and bone,
and my heart beats happy.

My heart beats happy,
with thoughts of you.

Your long, uncoloured brown hair,
and lips that don't tell lies.
These are your gifts embroidered in me,
and my heart beats happy

My heart beats happy
with these thoughts of you.

I told you I wasn't a breast man,
but one look at you, made me a believer.
In a casual dress, a red dress,
you shine like my prairie sun,
and my heart beats happy.

My heart beats happy,
when I look into your eyes.

The innocence of a child I feel,
reborn, and a need to be one.
This is what you've done for me,
and my heart beats happy.
