On This Valentine’s Day - Visitor's Love Poem

I never use to celebrate this day;
never even use to believe in this day
man called Valentine’s Day,
Until you showed up and love hit me blind,
I ask for nothing in return,
The only thing I look forward to is
10 minutes when I arrive and 10 minutes before I leave,
Just to get that one glimpse of your face,
we are supposed to be one,
my strength is your strength,
Your tears are my tears, your pain is my pain,
when we are having trouble times
we are supposed to lean on each other for comfort
and not be pushed away,
until this special day man called Valentine's Day,
I don’t want gifts, I don’t want candy,
I don’t want flowers, just wanted 10 minutes of your time,
Until this special day man called Valentine's day,
you pushed me away, I received that one message
“Leave before I get there, I don’t want to see you today”
you stole this day, you stole my 10 minutes away,
as tears filled my eyes,
I can’t believe you said goodbye,
I’m not angry, I’m not mad,
I just wanted to say HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY,
and I love you on this day man called Valentine's Day
