Pick a Moment - Visitor's Poem
by Carl Stoynoff
(Canada)
Pick a faded moment that passed through your heart,
Touch a memory that made you close your eyes,
Reach back and slowly grasp the scent of her body,
While you walk on, until her presence is gone,
Hold on to the kiss, the one that you reminisce,
Feel the smile that comes out of nowhere,
Choose that second, when you gave up your soul,
Embrace the beauty forever, while you walk on,
Cling to that emotion, you can never let go,
Unlock the prison and take back your freedom,
Be grateful for the honour, of knowing you had it all,
Release the dove from inside your butterfly wings,
While you walk on, until her presence is gone,
A child is born, a new life begins a new moment,
Learning love, is all that you teach with your reach,
We are all just passing through the grains of sand.
Say good night, everything gonna be alright...
Close your eyes and pick a moment in time!

* When I close my eyes I see your face inside my cloud. The Sun shines through every time...
