Sacred Garden - Visitor's Poem

by Sally Ann Yarrow
(Guildford, United Kingdom)

Apple Blossom's in full bloom
No more winter 'doom and gloom'
Their petals dancing all around
Making patterns on the ground

Birds are singing at the break of dawn
Searching for worms in the freshly cut lawn
Their beautiful tunes are a symphony
This is pure peace and harmony

Daffodils, yellow and bright
Red, proud tulips stood upright
Hear the humming of the bees
Gently buzzing past the trees

My imagination can almost see
The branches of the trees, waving at me
The flowers are dancing and the birds are their band
I couldn't dream of a place more grand

The sun is smiling through her intense heat
And kind of swaying to the rhythm of the beat
Feel and touch the energies here
So close to nature, no need to fear

Take the time to initiate
Sit down, close your eyes and meditate
Allow yourself to drift away
This place is here everyday
