Shades of Lavender - Visitor's Message

There's something I've been contemplating; wanting to ask you, just don't know how so, here's the question... "What do you seek fair lady, what is your want?"
Well, someone that inspires; removes defiance from the midday air. Someone that parts the clouds for me on any given dark and somber day, only to have the light shine through; and make my discouragement go away. He'll bring forth sweet conversation 'til early rise, drawn to him I will become by his eloquence in pristine mannerism. He would be have to be understanding, trusting, loyal, and enduring. In doing so, I would no longer have to fill an empty void that provides daggering thrusts of disappointment.
"Is that the reason why you've decided to remain reclusive?"
In part yes. However, we were never meant to drown in solitude. You see, I believe we have lost our sense of measurement, on how we view the opposite sex. Instead of focusing on discovering each other, we only stem a fixation upon ourselves. For instance, "my need" instead of "our need". It's no longer about "we" or "us". It's simply about: "one's own".
"You sound as if you've given up, have you?"
Of course not, I'll find my autumn shade; my golden horizon, the one who relaxes me and fills me with song. He'll present himself to me unexpectedly, unannounced, like sweet sunshine does after the rain. For love is the desirable Shade of Lavender, that rises every morning and fills the gracious sky like vibrant white castles.
