Teenager, what's the meaning? It's a package full of fun, inconsistent patterns and funny misconceptions. It bugs me why we have to go through this period which brings us to several crossroads where we have to make choices! It's not a simple ride that anyone would like to take because there are countless mistakes one has to make. For mistakes can make us or break us, it's our choice to keep an eye on the big picture. Some teenagers are lost, they don't know how or where to go about but there is always that higher spirit-GOD-who gives us the strength to survive such grueling doubts...
We're riding a roller coaster each day whereby our emotions and feelings fluctuate. There is a point where we are distracted by obstacles which blocks our way... obsessively in love, going on drugs, drinking unnecessarily, depression, smoking and doing what everyone does. Don't follow the crowd because you know what you are all about... people start to judge you because you chose your own path, come to think of it, how pathetic is that!
Parents sometimes don't understand us, we're treated as rebels and we are seen as a big fuss. I wish they could only be in our shoes again because this teenage life is not a simple alteration! Other times parents make us snooze when they go on about how much we lose and the decisions that we choose. Although parents reprimand us they always got love for us deep inside!
Some things will always stay the same; you have your family and friends right by your side. You got friends who will always share your laughter and pain... some stab you in the back and hurt you but it it is not worth holding on to. Most of all you are not perfect so love yourself and go your own way... but don't lose yourself because you have a purpose to fulfill!
