The Waiting - Visitor's Poem

by The Naysayer Tanguin
(Manila, Philippines)

Uncomfortably, I lay.
Hopeless, I continue.
Unsure, I committed.
Irreversible, that is reality.
If the wind blows to my opposite direction,
I care not to follow...
I will stand still,
Waiting 'til it blows my way.
Should I compromise and fail,
I dare not to stop trying.
There is nothing wonderful...
In a life with fake grins.
If I should drown myself in solitude...
And not be with someone...
That would make me happy...
Then, let loneliness devour me...
