This Morning's Smile - Visitor's Story

I woke up this morning to get the kids ready for school. My 10-year-old nephew and my 10-year-old daughter... making breakfast, packing lunch bags, ironing clothes, hustling them to get to the bathroom... never even stopped to make coffee for myself. Then to hear my sister who is ill ask for a sandwich and a cup of tea... threw the bread in the toaster and got her a sandwich in time to start combing the kids' hair... and packing school bags.
My daughter said, "Mummy you look like a hot mama.... woooooo weeee..." And she laughed hysterically until my nephew joined in. I was wearing a vest boxers and robe and my hair still tangled from the night's rest :)
I could not help but smile. I did not even notice what I was wearing nor did I realize how I looked anyway at all.
It wasn't until the driver came to pick them up that I looked in the mirror and thought, "Now that's woman power for you. We could do all that, and still look good and feel great!"
It feels great to smile and be free... it feels great to be woman!
