Time Passes
Time passes slowly every moment you are not here, your silhouette is all that remains.Memories of laughs, memories of happiness, memories of desire, are all that is left.Speak to me from afaryour voice echoes, tell me where you areand I surely will follow. You're almost a figment of my imagination, surely you are real.I feel the faint heat from your soft breath, gentle tingling of my every sense.Join me in my prayers, join me in my delight, join me one last time, before you take flight.Ride the air and travel for awhile, know you will be close, all I want is your smile.Tender, sweet, special and graciousI feel at ease again knowing you are by my sideEveryday as we grow stronger, missing you makes me more fonderAs we cuddle and whisper our good-night'sHaving you by my side,I now can calmly turn off the lights.
